Strong Hearts Empowered Lives focus is  teen girls who are at risk for Hiv/Aids or other sexually transmitted infections, offering them prevenative education in areas  of Domestic Violence/Sexual Abuse/Healthy/Unhealthy relationships,this education is presented by trained peer facilitators.

We all know someone who has been affected by abuse

 Strong Hearts Empowered Lives creates an atmosphere that young girls can come together with trained peer facilitators to  talk about issues that they are challenged with, in real life situations and talk about solutions to the problems they may face being teens.We feel by offering a safe place to have a dialogue,  with their peers, that this may reduce, teen pregnancy,  unwedded mothers, teen runaways,and or verbal/physical abuse against young teen girls.
